The third generation racer began his career driving midget cars across the Northeast. Bobby experienced his most successful year racing on dirt in 2006, when he lead the USAC National Midget Tour with five wins.
In 2006, Bobby moved from dirt to asphalt, when he made his debut in the ARCA Racing Series. The Franklin, Mass., native would earn two pole awards the following year at Pocono Raceway and USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Fla., and finish third twice at Kentucky Speedway.
In 2009, Bobby became the first driver to win in all three National USAC series in one year. He won three National Midget Series features, two National Sprint Series features and once National Silver Crown Series feature. Bobby joined the Heinke-Baldwin Racing driver development program in December 2009.
In 2010, he is piloting the No. 4 Dodge for Mystic Missile Racing in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. Prior to this year, Bobby had collected two wins in the series, both at Thompson International Speedway in Thompson, Conn. He had success immediately out of the gate this year, winning three of the first four races and taking home the Coors Light Pole Award in his first three starts with Mystic Missile.
