Tommy Baldwin Racing development driver Bobby Santos will compete in the USAC Pavement Sprint Car Series at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis this Thursday, July 7th. He will pilot the No. 98 Santos Motorsports car.

LUCAS OIL RACEWAY– Santos will be making his second start of the USAC Pavement Sprint Car Series season at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis. The series' last visited the track on May 12th for its second race of the season. Coming off his season-opening victory at Anderson Speedway, Santos collected a solid fourth-place finish in the May 12th race.

LAST RACE RECAP: TOLEDO SPEEDWAY – The Franklin, Mass., native scored his third consecutive USAC Pavement Sprint Car Series top-five at Toledo Speedway on July 1st with a fourth-place finish. Santos, who holds the track record at Toledo, again unloaded a fast car and posted fast times all weekend. While Santos was unable to score the victory at the track, the fourth-place finished propelled Santos into the points lead.

IN THE POINTS – After three races, Santos sits on top of the USAC Pavement Sprint Car Series point standings. With a fourth-place finish at Toledo Speedway, Santos passed Tanner Swanson for first-place in the points. Santos now sits one point ahead of Bobby East in second.

NASCAR WHELEN MODIFIED TOUR RECAP: THOMPSON – Santos and the No. 4 Mystic Missile Dodge took on Thompson International Speedway on Thursday, June 30th for the Budweiser 'King of Beers' 150. Santos posted the second fastest practice time and followed it up by qualifying third for the race with a time of 18.754 seconds. For most of the race Santos ran in the top-four but was unable to challenge for the lead due to a tight handling car. Santos finished the race in fourth-place.

Bobby Santos Quotes:

ON LUCAS OIL RACEWAY – "I'm excited for the race. I love racing at Lucas Oil Raceway. It is one of my favorite tracks. It is always exciting to go there. We've run well with our sprint car this year, and the last time at Lucas Oil we finished fourth. I think we definitely have room for improvement where we could have been better with the car, so I'm excited for the race and I think we have a good shot at winning."

ON SPRINT CAR RACING – "The sprint cars are a lot of fun, especially at Lucas Oil. The racing is always good there, and there is always a lot of passing. Usually, you don't get many yellows, so you have to be on your game right at the beginning of the race and ready to go because the race goes by quick. It always a lot of fun to race there, and it's usually pretty competitive."
